With the S:1 we were determined to refine rider position to achieve superior control, handling, and comfort without sacrificing forward motion. Gender specific sports saddle, our custom roll: flat handlebar and cockpit set up combine to create the most effective and efficient position to transfer power into the pedals. There’s a single thumb shifter for intuitive gear changing and a nifty 1x10 drive train that has the range of a traditional 2x9 but without the weight of a front derailleur. Our disc brakes offer performance far beyond traditional rim brakes, and although they’re hidden, we favor superior sealed bearings throughout for low maintenance and maximum lifespan. The components we use are anything but 'standard'; We’re committed to sourcing the best, and if we’re not satisfied we design our own. You’ll feel a distinct difference in the ride, not because of one exceptional component but the considered combination of them all. If you like to go faster farther, you'll fall in love with the S:1.
The S:1 is stacked with impressive yet discreet details. At it's heart is our iconic classic frame. We designed and built it from scratch, drawing on many life times of riding experience, built over 10 years in our shops. Frames and forks were designed in house and built using our proprietary geometries, tubing and moulds. We use 6061 aluminum and double butted tubes, subtly varying wall thicknesses and shaping for each tube throughout the bike. Our streamlined frames have been engineered to provide effortless power transfer, along with a remarkably comfortable ride. Our bikes are designed and engineered in every last detail.
