Built to explore

GR:1 Gravel Road. Built to explore the roads less travelled.

Inspired by the modified bikes that our team have been building in the shop to explore the rural back roads and unpaved trails of the Hocking Hills in our native Ohio, the GR:1 Gravel Road is the second in our limited edition series of roll: bike builds.

The GR:1 has been built to travel off the beaten path. We start with our new sealed bearing 650b wheel set, equipped with the light and supple Teravail Rampart 47mm wide gum wall tires, designed for rough pavement, gravel roads and well beyond. We switch to a lower range 34t front chainring as part of our preferred 1x10 drivetrain for greater climbing ability when the road gets rough and goes upwards. Upgraded SRAM level hydraulic brakes provide consistent, confidence inspiring stopping power, without fading over long descents. We love the feel of the premium Brooks Cambium C17 saddle and Cambium grips, that give all weather control and comfort you can settle into for long days exploring in the saddle.

The ultimate in trail performance with superior comfort and handling.

Each bike comes equipped with a special edition O.G. handlebar bag to stash your keys, wallet, tools, some snacks, and even a light weight jacket. Hand made for us in Columbus by our friend David at Donut Sack Bike Bags.
